About Us!

I would love for you to know a little bit about our family!

 

My husband and I met while I was attending the School Of Ministry for Girls at Applegate Christian Fellowship in beautiful Ruch, Oregon, near where I grew up. Michael was on the landscaping crew then.

I had seen Michael around, and was pretty interested. At first sight, I knew that he was the one, even before speaking to him. But, there was NO way I was going to walk up and introduce myself. I had a little deal with God that if Mike was for me, He was going to have to arrange the introductions.

While out one day helping the Flower Girls on staff tend to the thousands of flowers around the church, I was late getting back to the school. In my rush I left my Bible laying on a table. Mike found it and had it returned with one of the Flower Girls. The following Wednesday evening, I again left my Bible behind to go speak to a friend across the room. Mike again found it. He waited around for me to return. His first words to me was that I should not leave my sword laying around. Yea…

From that day on we were inseparable. I soon found out he had a little girl from his first marriage that he had sole custody of. We were married a year and a half later, and in the 13 years since we have added six more kids to our crazy family. Four boys and two girls!

We home school,  baby wear, breastfeed and use cloth diapers. We LOVE to discover useful Eco-Friendly, family friendly products for our family, and love to spread the news when we find them! We try to eat as much from scratch, organic, all natural as we can due to our second sons allergies. But mostly just because after learning what I have through research, I would no longer want to eat those foods anyway!
